In a hectic weekend that saw teenybopper riots at London's Heathrow Airport during the departure of two of the Osmond brothers, and the arrival of the singing Williams twins, pop idol David Cassidy managed to creep through unnoticed.
An elaborate security operation was mounted when David arrived from Los Angeles on Friday March 2, 1973, and shortly afterwards flew on to Amsterdam to begin his European Tour. He was smuggled from and to his aircraft in a catering truck.
A cap shields the identity of pop idol David Cassidy as he travels in a catering truck at Heathrow Airport.
